We provide a range of support services, programs and initiatives to help Victorian councils improve their capability, collaboration and performance.
We work with councils to identify and implement their preferred future directions to achieve a vision of a more productive sector delivering better outcomes to a more engaged community.
Among our current priorities is our work with members towards a “smart councils” approach that enables councils to do more with less through collaboration, innovation and digital transformation.
We also support the role of councillors with a range of training and professional development programs, as well as providing councils with access to cheaper borrowing sources by issuing bonds to capital markets.
