Child Information Sharing Scheme

Child Information Sharing Scheme Week Forum - 26-29 July 2022

MAV recently hosted the Child Information Sharing Scheme Week Forum to support councils with their understanding and obligations regarding the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS).

The Commissioner for Children and Young People and the Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People, along with the Deputy Secretary, Early Childhood Education and the MAV CEO opened the four-day forum, providing an insightful background to CISS and the importance of the Scheme in supporting a child’s wellbeing and safety.

Representatives from the Department of Education and Training and Local Government then provided real experiences and practical resources and tools, that will assist your council in implementing the Scheme across your early years’ services.
