Victorian local government recognised in Queen's Birthday Honours
The Municipal Association of Victoria extends its congratulations and thanks to all current and former Victorian local government recipients of this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours for their outstanding service and commitment to their communities.
We would like to extend a special congratulations to William (Bill) McArthur, who led the MAV as President from 2009 to 2016. His dedication to his community and the Victorian local government sector earned him a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia in the General Division.
