Board advisory committees
The MAV has a number of board advisory committees to inform and progress issues impacting on local government as prioritised by the MAV Strategic Plan and State Council. Each committee is chaired by an MAV Board member.
At the May 2023 Board Meeting, the Board endorsed the proposal to continue the Emergency Management Advisory Committee and to reinstate the Human Services and Professional Development Advisory Committees. The Terms of Reference (ToR) for each committee were updated and can be found below.
The MAV ran an expression of interest process following the MAV Board elections in March 2023. The next EoI process will be held following Board elections in 2025.
