2024 Councillor Service Awards

The Municipal Association of Victoria is proud to honour and celebrate the exceptional dedication and unwavering commitment of our long-serving councillors with our Councillor Service Awards.

Presented at our Annual Conference Dinner on September 12, the awards highlight the dedication of many to their communities and the local government sector.

MAV President Cr David Clark said each recipient has demonstrated exemplary leadership and a steadfast commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

“Being a councillor is a demanding role, and often completed as a second job or alongside raising a family,” Cr Clark explained.

“It can be a thankless task at times, with expectations changing all the time. It’s important the MAV mark these milestones in a special way through our Councillor Service awards.
